STEM Promotion through Social Media

Sonoma State recruits science and math teachers through our weekly School of Education informational meetings as well as thorough the local newspaper, newsletters, e-mails, flyers, and other media outlets. This past year we participated in the SSU Career Fair, where we gave out flyers to entice STEM majors to pursue teaching.  We distribute flyers and information about our SMTRI programs via email to districts, schools, and department chairs.  We also place our flyers at county offices of education credentialing and BTSA departments.
