Math and Science Classroom Visits

​The greatest success in recruitment efforts at CSU Bakersfield has been visiting undergraduate math and science courses and discussing what it means to be a math/science educator, including average pay in California, number of job openings, and the impact you have on the field by being an educator. These class visits brought in 6 new students in the spring semester. As for recruitment for the FLGS/FLM CSUB MSTI continues to encourage the add-on degree and promote it at each of the monthly Saturday Professional Learning Sessions open to all Kern County educators.
