Early Teaching Experiences in Mathematics and Science Program

​The Early Teaching Experiences in Mathematics and Science program initially targeted second-year STEM majors, but we realized that many students, especially science students, become interested in exploring the idea of becoming a secondary STEM teacher even later in their college career. The program recruits students who have completed the 200-level coursework in their major and are interested in a low-stakes opportunity to be immersed in planning and implementing CCSS-M and NGSS based lessons in real middle and high school classrooms.​
