Campus Recruitment Events

​We attend numerous recruitment events and host varied events of our own on our campus. We developed and implemented Education Week, a week-long event held in the spring to introduce our campus community to educator preparation and careers in education. The event provides multiple opportunities to engage students, faculty and advisors from across the campus in events that promote teaching careers and educate attendees about current issues and policies in education, and about our teacher credential programs. The CED has actively participated in the CSU EduCorps recruitment initiative and continues to reach out to undergraduate program faculty in the STEM disciplines to nominate students who may be interested in teaching.
