Scholarship and Loan Forgiveness Opportunities for STEM Teachers

MSTI, TRP, CSUSM Noyce, the State of California, and the federal TEACH grant program offer a scholarships and loan forgiveness programs to STEM undergraduates who decide to pursue a degree in teaching. MSTI works with TRP, the CSUSM Educational Services Center, and the STEM Center to advertise these opportunities. Through the Teacher Recruitment Committee, the SOE has put together a list of scholarships available for students in teacher education. This information is provided to students as soon as they sign up for the Be a Teacher (BAT) pathway. The information is also distributed along with other recruitment resources by the Faculty Champions for Teacher Recruitment and by the recruitment and outreach staff.
