Campus Events Promoting Math and Science Teaching
Description of Strategy
California State University, Bakersfield has worked with the TEACH grant, TQP Kern Rural Teacher Residency, Bechtel funded Kern Urban Teacher Residency, and the CSUB FabLab to address the state teacher shortage through inviting the community and current CSUB students to attend various on-campus events that encourage Single-Subject credentials in Math and Science and Foundational Level math and General Science credentials.
